Public Radio KCEP-FM welcomes WRRP, INC as its newest Nonprofit member. WRRP provides volunteer opportunities at Boyd Gaming and Thomas & Mack whereby WRRP donates a percent based stipend to those who volunteer for WRRP. We also provide mental health and drug counseling services for Medicaid or cash pay recipients. For more information about these programs visit www.wrrp.org or call (702) 385-9097. 

 

MISSION
To leverage all possible resources for the betterment of individuals and families. WRRP maintains our clients deserve non-condemnation no matter the circumstance(s) in which they find themselves. Our founding belief and broad client population we serve maintains to be our niche, which is one of several things that mark WRRP extraordinary to many other organizations.

The following provides a brief synopsis of the life skills philosophy behind our organizational brand: Wellness: The condition of mental health, especially when maintained by proper habits. Redemption: Restoring honor, worth, or reputation through providing unconditional help and service. Rehabilitation: Restoring to good health or a useful life, as through therapy and education.

MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES INCLUDE:
Medication Management
WRRP’s clinical director is a licensed and nationally recognized psychiatrist. Medication may be prescribed for many different conditions, including depression, anxiety and bipolar disorders, PTSD, and others.

Evaluations and Assessments
Through WRRP, clients are provided a full assessment with diagnosis. Our licensed therapists provide mental health evaluations, assessments, and therapy to help build coping skills for many different life conditions and mental health problems.

Psycho-social Rehabilitation (PSR) Services
Our PSRs assist daily with client behavior management, social competency, and teaching effective communication, moral reasoning, problem identification and resolution skills.
