UpRite Lions Bio
As a testament to their undeniable talent and skyrocketing popularity, URL recently beat out over 6,500 international contestants to lock in a coveted 4th place position in Myspace & XM Satellite Radio’s Show Us What U Got competition. Their release of their last album The Pavement has
garnered in excess of 20,550 Myspace plays in 2008.
Additionally, the UpRite Lions hard work and unparalleled sound have enabled them to thrill crowds alongside such iconic artists and industry heavyweights as:

Ever at home in the spotlight, Trice, Shef and B-Star have garnered the lions share of media attention including features in Billboard magazine, GoTriad, UrbanLit and SpeakEZ magazines, Charlottegigs.com, A&T Register. They have even earned the front cover of the Fayetteville Observer, officially cementing their status as hometown heroes. Recognizing that their presence is too large to be confined to print, URL has also appeared on several online TV shows, including: The Pavement, Street Scholar, The Collective and Generation: Got Next. The Lions have sharpened their claws and honed their skills on and off the stage by hosting numerous events in the Triangle, Triad and Piedmont regions of the state.
