The Sun was shining down on the lovely Desert Hollywood Honors in Las Vegas on Saturday the 26th of May, 2012, held at the Cashman Theatre!

Presented by:  Andre Banks of the Desert Hollywood Foundation.

The Red Carpet rolled out for the veteran’s of the entertainment industry with performances by: Hypnotix Dance Crew, and Hosted by: The very funny and beautiful Maliesha Shomo.

Don Carlos · Roots Reggae Legend from Kingston, Jamaica whose music is hailed as the foundation of Reggae as we know it today

Kool & The Gang · has sold over 70 million albums worldwide and influenced the music of three generations.

Reynaldo Rey · Comic Legend that hosted “BET Comic View”, appeared in “Friday”, and starred as a regular on hit series “227” and “Sanford and Son”, as well as a host of other blockbuster comedies.

Ernest L. Thomas · Actor Icon, Director, Philanthropist – Well known for starring in 70’s TV series “What’s Happening”. Also noted for re-ocurring role as Mr. Omar in “Everybody Hates Chris”.
