This year, in an effort to continue its commitment to the USA, DEWALT has made a special pledge to Veterans across the United States. In addition to its promise to donate a minimum of $250,000 to the Wounded Warrior Project and hiring more than 100 Veterans by the close of 2013, DEWALT will be participating in two special events in Las Vegas this November.

On Monday, November 11, DEWALT will sponsor the Las Vegas Veteran’s Day Parade, the largest Veteran’s Day Parade west of the Mississippi. DEWALT will salute veterans by marching in the parade alongside four DEWALT trucks, a five-ton military vehicle and a replica of the DEWALT branded NASCAR race car.

On Tuesday, November 12, DEWALT will make a tool donation to the Central Veterans of Foreign War (VFW) post in downtown Las Vegas. The tools will be used to setup a loaning center, where local veterans can borrow and utilize DEWALT tools for projects, at no cost.
