Power 88 Pledge Drive Week April 5-14, 2013!
With the weather beginning to hint at the onset of spring, (at least in Las Vegas) our attention here at Power 88 turns to the annual Spring Membership Pledge Drive. This year’s drive will feature everything you expect, including special guests, plenty of premium gifts, including the popular Hawaii hotel stay certificates, plus, a few special surprises.
Donate online or call 702.648.0104 to donate $200 for your chance to recieve a pair of tickets to see PRINCE coming to the Joint at the Hard Rock.
3RDEYEGIRL recently made their national television debut on NBC’s “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon,” in which PRINCE and the band performed his newly released song “Screwdriver” and classic tune “Bambi.” New music from PRINCE is available exclusively at 3RDEYEGIRL.com, including “Screwdriver,” “Breakfast Can Wait” and “RNR Remix 7,” and more.
PRINCE has been named the #1 guitarist of all-time on Earth-Audio.Tutsplus.com; and 3RDEYEGIRL is already turning critics’ heads. Says TheStar.com: “Prince has a new backup band, 3rdEyeGirl, that’s talented, tight and together as they come.” Says Sticky Magazine of guitarist Donna Grantis: “the full impact of Grantis is her live performance: the interaction with other musicians onstage, the improvisational wizardry and the sheer passion that can be felt.” Adds Abstract Logix: Grantis alternately echoes whisper-to-a-scream blues snippets of Hendrix, Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton, before exploring feels from metal to jazz.” TheCurrent.Org raves about Ida Nielsen (deemed by Bass Player.com as“Prince’s Funk Princess”) and drummer Hannah Ford stating: “Nielsen and Ford prove to be a powerhouse rhythm section.” GuitarCenter.comechoes of Ford: “From the moment the show opens until it closes, you will feel the excitement and power of Hannah’s assault on her drum kit.”

Plan now to join us April 5th through the 14th for the Power 88 2013 Spring Membership Pledge Drive. It’s your chance to make a difference in your community, help Power 88 stay strong and have a little fun. It’s all from your friends at Power 88, because at Power 88, we “Love our Listeners.” LOL…
Public radio continues to be a vibrant and relevant part of many Americans’ lives. The stations we evaluated for this study
broadcast unique programming to nearly 32 million weekly listeners. Public radio is also meeting the challenges of a crowded
media landscape by taking full advantage of technological innovations, including podcasting, Internet streaming, and HD
Public Radio Today 2012 is an in-depth look at the listening activity to the nine most popular public radio formats
representing the Fall 2011 Diary and October-November-December 2011 PPM survey periods: News/Talk/Information,
Classical Music, Urban Contemporary, News-Classical, Adult Album Alternative (AAA), Jazz, News-AAA, News-Music, News-Jazz, and Variety Music. The statistics include Average Quarter-Hour (AQH) Share of the total public radio audience, each format’s weekly reach in terms of total listeners (Cume), segmentation of audience composition by age group, Time Spent Listening (TSL) by demographic, education levels, income by household, gender composition, ratings by daypart, a state-by-state index and listening by at-home vs. out-of-home locations.
Public Radio Today 2012 also includes Scarborough consumer data to present a comprehensive consumer profile of public
radio listening across America. This in-depth profile is drawn with information on public radio listeners’ household
characteristics and consumption behaviors among several popular product categories.
We thank these public radio organizations for helping us shape this study and invite you to visit their websites to learn more
